Heart disease is the leading cause of death in New Jersey. While men experience more heart attacks and strokes than women, women are more likely to die of cardiovascular disease than men. Therefore, it is vitally important that both men and women educate themselves about good cardiovascular health. The Valley Hospital will host “Your Key to Heart Health” on Wednesday, February 12 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. This event is free.
Cardiologist Gerald Sotsky, M.D., of Valley Medical Group will host the free seminar. Participants will learn the key to unlocking heart health: knowing your heart health numbers including blood pressure, cholesterol, and waist size. Healthy numbers means a healthy heart. Learn what these numbers mean, the range for a healthy heart, and what you can do to improve your heart health numbers.
Gerald Sotsky, MD practices cardiology and internal medicine with Valley Medical Group. Dr. Sotsky received his MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he also completed both his residency and his fellowship. Dr. Sotsky is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
