December 20, 2013 -- Valley Medical Group welcomes Arthur S. Antler, M.D., F.A.C.P., who has practiced in Bergen County for the past 33 years and has maintained an office in Mahwah for the last 20 years.
Dr. Antler, who specializes in gastroenterology, internal medicine, and geriatrics, will continue to see patients at his office at 400 Franklin Turnpike, suite 212, in Mahwah.

Dr. Antler received his medical degree from New York Medical College in New York City in 1975 and was awarded the Julian E. Rosenthal Award for Excellence in Rehabilitation Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Misericordia-Lincoln Hospitals in the Bronx in 1978 and his fellowship in gastroenterology at New York Medical College Metropolitan Hospital and Westchester Medical Center in 1980. He is board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and geriatric medicine.
Dr. Antler has been a member of The Valley Hospital Medical Staff since 1981 and currently holds the title of Subspecialty Director of the Division of Gastroenterology. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
VMG brings together doctors who practice at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, Valley’s Blumenthal Cancer Center in Paramus, seven urgent and primary care centers, and community-based practices located throughout the region.
