December 19, 2013 -- Board-certified dermatologist Iris Kopeloff, M.D., has joined Valley Medical Group (VMG) and moved her dermatologic practice to a temporary location at VMG’s Primary/Urgent Care Center at 85 Chestnut Ridge Road, Suite 111, in Montvale. Her office will re-locate in early 2014 to a new permanent location at 1200 E. Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood.
Providing personalized and caring dermatological care for patients from pre-teens through the adult population, Dr. Kopeloff has been in private practice since 1994. With firm roots in Bergen County, Dr. Kopeloff maintains long-standing relationships with many of her patients.
Valley Medical Group (VMG) is a multispecialty group practice comprising doctors and advanced practice professionals representing more than 30 medical and surgical specialties. VMG – which joins The Valley Hospital and Valley Home Care as the three entities that form Valley Health System – has office locations at the hospital, Valley’s Blumenthal Cancer Center in Paramus, seven primary/urgent care centers, and community-based practices located throughout the community.
Dr. Kopeloff received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She was awarded the Harold Elster Memorial Prize for the highest academic standing in her graduating class of 1989. She completed her internship at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and her residency in dermatology at New York University. Upon completion of her residency, she has remained on the faculty of NYU Langone Medical Center with an academic appointment as a clinical assistant professor of dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society for Dermatological Surgery.
In 2013, Dr. Kopeloff was named a “Best Doctor” by Bergen County’s 201 magazine. She has also been appointed co-director of The Valley Hospital’s Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center, which will be launched in 2014.
Dr. Kopeloff practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology, addressing conditions such as acne, rosacea, skin cancer, and eczema.
