Valley’s Women’s and Children’s Resource Center was created to support women of all ages to find health resources, services, and referrals to meet their needs and the needs of their families. Our door is open Monday through Friday to hear your concerns.
Thrive! is a contributing factor to this same goal. Programs and events are created, organized, and advertised to offer education on a variety of health topics in fun venues.
The Center is located at the hospital's Dorothy B. Kraft Center, at 15 Essex Road in Paramus. The establishment of the Center was made possible through employee donations to The Valley Hospital 2011 Annual Employee Giving Campaign.

About the Coordinator
My name is Deb Rath, and I’m the Women's and Children's Resource Center and Thrive! coordinator here at The Valley Hospital. I started my career at Valley in 1978, working as a nurse in the newborn nursery for three years and delivered my own three children here as well. Returning to Valley in 1992, I was blessed to have the opportunity to work as a labor and delivery nurse and educator for many years. I never tire of seeing a newborn baby come into the world and watching the parents fall in love with their new little one!
In 2011, I stepped into my present role. I love creating exciting, fun, and educational programs and events for the women of all ages in the community. I’m also blessed to have many new friends as our Thrive! membership grows—we now have nearly 5,000 women participating in our program!
If you’d like to join (it’s a free program) or if you’d like guidance finding resources for yourself or your family, please feel free to call or email me. What woman doesn't like having some girl time chats? I look forward to a relationship with you!
