The Center for Youth Fitness (CFYF) boasts a variety of traditional exercise equipment with a virtual gaming twist and is loaded with fun physical challenges. Kids can exercise in an open, bright, safe, supervised environment. Giving kids the tools to practice healthy behaviors is the cornerstone of our facility and promotes self-confidence and motivation to stay active.
The Sports Institute is staffed by exercise physiologists and licensed certified athletic trainers. All staff have either a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in the field of sports medicine or exercise science. Many of our staff have advanced certifications in strength and conditioning, health promotion, and clinical exercise programming.
Valley’s staff of registered dietitians will offer on-site nutrition consultations and educational programming for a well-rounded approach to wellness. In addition, the CFYF received medical guidance from Valley’s Pediatric Medical Staff, with specialists in endocrinology, diabetes, cardiology, and sleep medicine.
