Convenience and Comfort in One Location

In the everyday juggling of family, work and community responsibilities, it can be difficult for a woman to find time to care for her own healthcare needs. That is why The Valley Hospital has planned and designed a Breast Center that offers all breast screening and diagnostic services in one convenient location at the hospital.

We offer flexible appointments, including some evening and Saturday hours, to make it easier to schedule a yearly mammogram. The center's soothing atmosphere was designed to make it more relaxing to use our services. Our multidisciplinary team of experienced physicians, technologists, support professionals and nurse navigator coordinate all aspects of a woman's breast care.

A private entrance allows you to step right into the center. Once inside, you'll be greeted and registered by a staff member. We’ll even offer you light refreshments, including herbal tea and coffee. A mammography technologist will then review your medical history. You'll then be accompanied to a dressing room where you will change into a plush cotton robe. A female technologist will perform your mammogram. Several views of the breast will be taken.

We make it our priority to utilize the latest technologies and procedures, including bone densitometry, screenings for early detection and minimally invasive biopsy techniques. And we're always here for you as a source of information, education and support.
