A national parent advocacy group with information about domestic and international adoption.  Publishes a bi-monthly magazine.  Web site has information about a broad range of adoption-related issues for all stages of the adoption process, travel, book lists, and raising an adopted child.

North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC):
National advocacy group providing information regarding resources, legislation and a wide range of adoption related issues.

Joint Council for International Children's Services (JCICS):
An umbrella organization for agencies involved in international adoption that promotes ethical adoption practices and legislation. Information regarding international adoption and resources.

Child Welfare Information Gateway:
A federally funded site with information about all aspects of adoption and foster care.

Healthy Foster Care America: 
This American Academy of Pediatrics web site provides a range of information on developmental and mental health, advocacy, and legislative issues and resources for parents, children, and professionals involved in foster care.
